It started with one yard
Forty years ago we opened the gates on Arundel Street. We have not moved since. Same postcode, same counter, same answer when you ask whether we can do something.
The workshop
Then we put a mill out the back
Most merchants order mouldings in. We machine ours here — skirting, architrave, tongue and groove — which is why we can match a profile from a 1930s house when nobody else will touch it.
Nationwide
And ended up fitting out airports
Amalgamated with KJ Interiors, we now install suspended ceilings and partitions across the UK — including five major airports. The yard on Arundel Street still opens every morning.

What we do
From a single length to a full load
Four sides to the business, all run from the same yard on Arundel Street.
Timber Products
Softwood and hardwood, carcassing, cladding and garden timber. Everything a working yard should carry, in stock and ready to load.
Cutting & Sawing
A small sawing mill on site. Sheet materials cut down so they fit your van and your job, usually while you wait.
Bespoke Machining
Skirting, architrave and tongue and groove run to your specification. Bring an offcut and we will tell you if we can match it.
Trade & Commercial
Business accounts for returning contractors, plus suspended ceilings and partitions nationwide through KJ Interiors.

We price it there and then
Our prices are published, so you know the cost before you commit. Got a cheaper written quote? We will try to match it.

Cut, machined, ready
Sheets cut down in the yard, mouldings run through the workshop. Most orders are ready the same day.

Collect or we deliver
Pick up from Arundel Street or have it dropped off. We take card payment over the phone too.

Common questions
Before you ring us
Do I need a trade account to buy from you?

No. We serve private customers and business clients alike, and there is no minimum order. Trade accounts are available for returning contractors if you would prefer to settle monthly.
Can you cut timber and sheets to size?

Yes. Sheet materials are cut down in the yard so they fit your van and your job, and our workshop runs a bespoke machining service alongside a small sawing mill. A £2.00 cutting charge applies to wafer boards.
Do you deliver, and how do I pay?

We take telephone orders for collection at the workshop or for delivery. All major credit cards are accepted with the exception of American Express.
Can you match an old moulding profile?

Often, yes. Bring a short offcut down to the yard and we will tell you honestly whether we can run it. We manufacture a large selection of mouldings in-house, including tongue and groove to your specification.
